The basics of money and budgeting for teenagers
FUND DEVELOPMENT
In these workshops, we will cover:
Best practices of writing a grant for a non-profit
Turning statistics into stories and stories into grant awards
Planning your campaign and developing the ask
Event management
Proven strategies to raise awareness for your cause
Building stronger relationships with your donors
Workshops can be adapted for a 60- or 90-minute class.
All are presented in a Power Point format with handouts for the participants.
Typically, a Housing Frederick Financial Coach will come to your site and work with your clients. We can also arrange to teach in a public location that may be more accommodating for an educational experience. As grant funding allows, we teach workshops for nonprofits at no charge.
We are available to teach community groups, faith based organizations and civic clubs on a fee basis.
