Plans Move Forward for Affordable Housing in Frederick

The Hamilton Station apartments will be located across the street from Grove Park on Hamilton Avenue near the Frederick Fairgrounds. The five walk-up, garden-style buildings will offer 80 units for rent, said Ryan Trout, the county’s community development housing program manager.

County Executive Jan Gardner Announces 2 New Sites for Affordable Housing

County Executive Jan Gardner announced the two sites at a news briefing late last week, one of which is about 4.5 acres on Alan Linton Boulevard near Tuscarora Elementary School, and the other on about 10 acres on the southwestern corner of Md. 26 and Sebastian Boulevard near the Dearbought community in Frederick.


Frederick Senior Housing Apartments Expand Applicant Pool

The Frederick County Council approved a resolution that amended a Payment in Lieu of Tax agreement (PILOT) to allow more seniors 62 years of age and older to apply for apartments at Sharpe Square, located at 820 Motter Ave.
